Gary and I went there tonight for dinner -- we were both super hungry and I knew that it had been open for a while, so we decided to try something new. The menu was a bit different from the usual Thai food places that I go to.. Nothing that seemed familiar. I thought about asking, but then I thought well the description sound good enough, lets just give it a go(I'm normally the type to ask what the wait staff recommends if I've never been to the restaurant)This is what we decided on : Shrimp and Chicken Dumplings -- I was trying to find the name for them on the menu on the website, but it wasn't updated. Tom Kha Kai -- Chicken coconut galangal soup with mushrooms and cabbage. Kao Moo Dang -- Three style pork -- crispy BBQ and thai sausage over jasmine rice and herb sauce with cucumbers, a hard boiled egg and served with a black soy sauce.
I think the best part of the meal was the dessert. Gauy Thod -- fried bananas with coconut ice cream and there was a honey glaze on the plate. They fried the banana with rice flour and Thai beer. It was very light and fluffy. Overall a very good meal. It was nice to go somewhere new and different. The atmosphere was very nice. Very large open space with nice lighting and unique decor.
